Patent Associate — Intellectual Property (Life Sciences)

Seeking a patent associate to join an intellectual property team focused on life sciences and biotech matters. The role is open across multiple offices and will involve drafting and prosecuting patent applications for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and related digital-health technologies.

The team works with scientific inventors on complex life‑sciences inventions; ideal candidates will combine strong technical training with clear written and oral communication skills. The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package and performance-based compensation.

• 1–4 years of law‑firm patent prosecution experience
• Admission to the U.S. Patent Bar (registration required)
• Advanced degree (Ph.D., M.S., or equivalent) in a life‑sciences/chemistry discipline such as molecular or cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, bioengineering, medicinal or organic chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or digital health-related fields
• Prior patent agent experience preferred; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; excellent academic credentials
