The role focuses on patent litigation matters, with opportunities to work on district court and International Trade Commission proceedings and to support trial‑level work.
Day‑to‑day responsibilities include technical analysis of patents and products, drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, working with experts, and conducting or defending depositions. The team emphasizes collaboration and subject‑matter understanding to deliver client goals.
The firm follows a hybrid workplace policy; associates are expected to work on site approximately 60% of the time.
- JD or LLM from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Minimum 2 years patent litigation experience (district court and/or ITC)
- Admission to practice in California, Massachusetts, New York or Washington, DC
- Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science or related field, or life sciences background (biology, immunology, biochemistry) as applicable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively in teams
- Organized, detail oriented, and professional in client engagement
