The role focuses on patent prosecution and counseling for clients in mechanical and aerospace (with related electrical/computer) technologies. The team includes former patent examiners and practitioners with industry experience, providing strong support for developing and managing patent portfolios.
- 1–3 years patent prosecution experience (USPTO or law-firm setting); prior patent examiner experience is a plus
- Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
- J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the relevant state bar; PTO registration preferred
- Strong academic record, excellent writing skills, and sharp analytical ability; applications should include a brief cover letter indicating office preference and academic transcripts as applicable
