The role focuses on drafting and prosecuting U.S. patent applications and supporting related patent litigation and counseling matters across energy, high‑tech and industrial technology sectors.
The position offers exposure to a national/international client platform and opportunities to work on matters involving software, AI, energy, and manufacturing technologies. The firm values clear client service, technical fluency, and collaborative practice development.
Applicants must be eligible to work under U.S. export control laws applicable to the role.
- 2–5 years of patent prosecution experience, including drafting U.S. patent applications
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical field
- Registered with the USPTO
- Licensed or able to become licensed with the Texas Bar
- Strong written and oral communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience or technical background in energy, software/AI, or manufacturing preferred
