An ambitious mid-level associate is sought to join a leading international People and Reward practice in Brussels. The role involves advising global and domestic employers on Belgian and cross-border employment, pensions, benefits, and data privacy matters, with teams spanning Asia, Europe, and the US.

Key work includes managing multi-jurisdictional employment projects, transactional due diligence and documentation, executive remuneration and severance, equity incentive and benefit schemes, collective consultations, restructuring, European Works Councils, strategic workplace advice, and HR data privacy and GDPR compliance. The associate will also contribute to business development and know-how.

This is an opportunity to work closely with a People & Reward partner and collaborate with M&A, tax, dispute resolution, antitrust, and regulatory teams across offices on cross-border matters, supported by structured knowledge-sharing and international training.

2–5 years of relevant employment law experience, preferably at a leading law firm
Belgian law degree with excellent academic records; a post-graduate degree in employment, labour, or social law is an asset
Creative, curious, rigorous, and proactive with strong communication skills and the ability to take on responsibility and autonomy
Forward-looking mindset and comfort with modern legal technology and AI tools
Fluency in English and Dutch, with a good command of French
