Opportunity for a Principal Associate on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join a large non-contentious construction team, working across major UK construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. The role is open to candidates for office(s) in Birmingham or London and offers hybrid working.

The team advises developers, investors, public-sector bodies, contractors and occupiers on high-value development, funding and construction matters across sectors including logistics, regeneration, energy, healthcare and life sciences. The successful candidate will manage significant matters with limited partner supervision and contribute to a collaborative, technically focused team.

Qualified solicitor with approximately 6 years' PQE.
Experience advising on major forms of construction contract (JCT, NEC, MF/1, FIDIC).
Experience on development and funding agreements and agreements for lease, and on large projects or regeneration schemes.
Proven ability to run matters with minimal supervision, supervise junior fee-earners and provide pragmatic, commercial advice.
Strong drafting, negotiation, client-handling and time-management skills.
Right to work in the UK and ability to meet any required professional/DBS checks.
