Private Companies Associate — Corporate, San Diego

Join a busy private companies practice advising early‑stage and growth‑stage technology and life sciences companies and their investors. The role focuses on venture capital financings, strategic corporate work and liquidity events across the company lifecycle.

You'll work on matter teams counseling venture‑backed clients, have opportunities to develop a transactional practice, and contribute to practice‑building initiatives including thought leadership and internal platform activities.

• 3–6 years' corporate transactional experience (PQE)
• Substantial experience representing early‑stage and growth‑stage, venture‑backed companies and their investors
• Experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrable transactional drafting and deal‑execution skills
