Private Companies/Venture Capital Associate (3rd–6th Year)

An elite private companies team is seeking mid-level associates to advise disruptive, venture-backed companies and the investors who fund them. The team counsels early-stage and growth-stage companies throughout their lifecycle, handling general corporate matters, venture capital financings, and liquidity events.

This is an opportunity to join a thriving practice serving some of the most prominent high-growth companies and their investors. Beyond client work, associates are encouraged to build and run a practice, participate in speaking engagements, and help shape the continued development of the firm's private companies platform.

Candidates should bring substantial experience counseling venture-backed companies and a strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school.

• At least three full years of substantial experience with early-stage and growth-stage companies
• Deep experience advising venture-backed companies on general corporate matters across the growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events
• Prior experience in the corporate department of a national or international law firm
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
