Private Companies Associate (3rd–6th Year)

A growing national corporate team is seeking 3rd–6th year associates to join its private companies practice, advising disruptive, venture-backed companies and the investors who fund them throughout their growth cycle.

The role centers on counseling early-stage and growth-stage companies on general corporate matters, including venture capital financings and liquidity events. Associates will work with some of the most prominent high-growth companies and their investors while joining a growing national platform.

Beyond client work, associates have the opportunity to help build and run a practice, participate in speaking engagements, and contribute to the development of the national private companies platform. The role is open across multiple offices in the United States.

• 3–6 years of substantial experience working with early-stage and growth-stage companies
• Deep experience counseling venture-backed companies on general corporate matters across the growth cycle, including venture capital financings and liquidity events
• Prior corporate department experience at a national or international law firm
• Strong academic record from a nationally recognized law school
