Private Equity & M&A Attorney (3rd–6th Year)

Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks a 3rd to 6th year associate to join its private equity and M&A practice. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting, writing, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with experience in:

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements
• LLC and LP agreements
• Other ancillary transaction documents
• Serving the day-to-day needs of private equity fund and portfolio company clients

The successful candidate will act as a key extension of client business teams in a dynamic, team-oriented environment, demonstrating sound business and strategic judgment. Excellent academic credentials and prior large-firm experience working with private equity sponsors are required.

• 3–6 years of private equity and M&A experience
• Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational, verbal, and interpersonal abilities
• Experience with purchase and merger agreements, LLC/LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
• Ability to lead as an extension of client business teams
• Excellent academic credentials and prior large-firm experience with private equity sponsors required
