Private Equity Attorney (3rd–6th Year) – Los Angeles

A leading law firm seeks a mid-level private equity attorney with 3–6 years of experience to join its Corporate practice in Los Angeles. The role involves working closely with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies on a range of transactional matters.

The successful candidate will draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other ancillary transaction documents, and will serve as a key extension of client business teams. The position requires strong business and strategic judgment, and offers the opportunity to play a lead role in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• 3–6 years of private equity and M&A experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
• Prior large firm experience working with private equity sponsors
• Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and project management skills
• Excellent academic credentials
