Private Equity Attorney — Corporate (New York)

We are seeking a 3rd–6th year attorney to join a dynamic corporate practice focused on private equity and mergers & acquisitions. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, serving as an extension of client business teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The incoming attorney will take a lead role on transactions, interacting directly with clients and contributing strategic and business judgment to deal execution. Matters will span the full range of private equity and M&A activity.

• 3rd–6th year attorney with private equity and M&A experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
• Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and project-management abilities
• Good business and strategic judgment
• Excellent academic credentials
• Prior large-firm experience working with private equity sponsors
