Private Equity M&A Associate — Philadelphia

An established private equity group at a leading international law firm is seeking a highly qualified mid-level to senior associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Philadelphia office. The team handles a broad range of corporate and transactional matters on behalf of private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.

The role offers substantial responsibility, including working within deal teams and independently managing components of transactions. Matters span mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, exits, and equity compensation.

The firm fosters a collaborative, collegial, and entrepreneurial atmosphere in which lawyers across practice areas and geographies work together. Candidates should be proactive, possess strong business sense, and communicate effectively with internal and external clients and counsel.

• 3+ years of corporate and transactional experience, ideally within a private equity practice
• Experience with M&A, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, exits, and equity compensation
• Ability to manage transaction components independently while working effectively in teams
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable law firm experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive, business-minded approach
• Relevant bar admission, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly
• Deal sheet required
