AmLaw 20 global firm seeks a Private Equity Partner to join its growing corporate platform in New York. This is a strategic lateral hire aligned with the firm's broader investment in private equity, private credit, and international restructuring.

The firm is prioritizing established originators and team builders in private equity deal work. Candidates should bring their own client relationships and a track record of high-quality, complex transactional practice. Substantial New York-based PE originators are particularly attractive.

This role offers the opportunity to plug into a well-resourced, collaborative platform with strong cross-practice and cross-border deal flow, including team capabilities in the US, London, continental Europe, and the Middle East. • Lateral Partner, private equity.
• Established originator / team builder with portable external clients.
• Strong technical skills and a willingness to collaborate with and build alongside colleagues.
• Ability to support oneself financially and grow through the firm's relationships.
• No distress or special situations specialization required; general private equity deal work is welcome.
• Portable book of business of $2M+ (USD).
