Seeking an experienced transactional attorney to join a well-established public finance group in Missoula. The role offers substantive involvement across the lifecycle of public finance matters, including serving as core bond counsel on governmental and economic development financings and advising on state and federal tax issues related to financings.

This is a market-facing, client-centered position with opportunities to develop a private activity practice in areas such as health care, housing, and exempt facilities. The team provides close collaboration with senior lawyers and supports professional growth toward either partner-track or senior income partner responsibilities, depending on experience.

Candidates should be comfortable engaging directly with issuer and borrower clients, traveling within the state, and participating in speaking and business-development activities.

Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the Montana bar or ability to become admitted in Montana
At least 5 years of transactional experience; public finance experience preferred
Strong bond counsel and tax-related transactional experience; client-facing and business-development aptitude
