Mid-level associate role on a full-service firm's Real Estate team in New York. The team handles financing, purchases and sales, leasing, joint ventures, and zoning/land use matters across a range of commercial property types.

Typical work includes lender- and borrower-side financing (drafting and negotiating loan documents, title and survey review, opinion letters), purchase and sale transactions (contract negotiation, due diligence, closings), and commercial leasing (landlord and tenant matters). The group works with institutional owners, investors, developers and lenders.

The role offers hands-on transactional work within a collegial team and requires the ability to manage small deal teams and interact directly with clients and counterparties.

3–5 years' experience in real estate transactions (financings, purchases/sales, leasing)
Substantive experience drafting and negotiating loan documents, purchase agreements, and commercial leases
Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and preparing closing documentation
Admitted to and in good standing with the New York bar
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead small teams
Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school; resume, cover letter, and law school transcript required
