Real Estate Finance Associate — Chicago

Seeking a mid-level associate to join a national real estate finance practice in the Chicago office. The role focuses on real estate and asset-based lending matters, with primary responsibility for loan origination and related documentation for financial institution clients.

Work will include supporting institutional lenders on financings and may involve representation of developers on purchase, sale and financing matters. The team serves a diverse client base across industries and offers exposure to complex, market-facing transactions.

• 4-6 years' post-qualification experience in real estate lending or asset-based lending, with emphasis on loan origination
• Experience representing financial institutions; developer-side experience a plus
• Admission to the Illinois bar or ability to obtain a waiver
• Strong academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication, client-service skills, and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
