Leading global law firm seeks a Real Estate Finance attorney to join its New York Real Estate Finance group. The role involves handling sophisticated commercial real estate debt matters across the capital structure.

Work will focus on mortgage and mezzanine financings, preferred equity, permanent and bridge loan originations, construction lending, loan participations and syndications, intercreditor/co-lender arrangements, and workouts and restructurings. The team advises on complex, market-facing transactions for institutional borrowers and lenders.

Juris Doctor and admission to the relevant bar.
Approximately 2–7 years of transactional experience in commercial real estate finance at a top-tier law firm.
Substantive experience with mortgage and mezzanine financings, preferred equity, construction loans, loan syndications/participations, intercreditor arrangements, and restructurings.
Strong drafting, deal management, and client-facing skills; ability to work on multiple complex transactions.
