Restructuring & Special Situations Finance Associate — Bankruptcy (San Francisco)

Top-tier restructuring team is seeking a finance associate (law school class years 2019–2023) to join its Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in San Francisco. The role focuses on financings and liability-management work in distressed and special-situations matters.

Successful candidates will work on DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, liability-management transactions and other special-situations financings for creditors and borrowers. Matters include chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings, frequently involving hedge funds, CLOs, private equity and other financial institutions.

• Law school graduation in class years 2019–2023
• Significant experience on liability-management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings and/or special-situations financings
• Experience representing creditors and/or borrowers in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings
• Excellent drafting, analytical and client-communication skills
