We are seeking an experienced Risk Lawyer to join a General Counsel team within a leading international professional services group. This role provides legal advice and guidance on non-contentious general legal risk issues, commercial and client-related contracts, data protection, technology risk, and regulatory compliance.

The position involves working closely with the General Counsel and key stakeholders across the business, including partners, lawyers, and leaders of operational and consultancy businesses. You will lead on matters where appropriate, manage and review commercial and client contracts and terms of business, and act as a trusted advisor on data protection and technology risk projects.

Qualified lawyer with relevant compliance experience, ideally gained within a risk and compliance team in a UK law firm, financial institution, or regulator.
Experience using Intapp and knowledge of conflicts of interest is highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to a range of stakeholders.
Highest standards of legal rigour, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent drafting skills.
Proactive, resilient, and calm under pressure, with strong organisational and prioritising abilities.
Ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders, manage a diverse workload, and work collaboratively.
