Experienced corporate/M&A lawyer sought for the Düsseldorf office of a leading international law firm. The team advises German and international strategic and financial investors, with particular strength representing private equity funds on acquisitions, disposals, platform and add‑on transactions, carve‑outs and joint ventures.

Work covers sector-focused transactions in technology, energy & infrastructure, life sciences & healthcare, asset management and financial institutions, frequently cross‑border and involving multi‑disciplinary coordination with tax, regulatory, real estate, employment and IT/W&I specialists.

The role offers early client contact, structured mentoring, development in technical and commercial skills, and flexible working arrangements including home‑office and international secondment opportunities.

Qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) with relevant post‑qualification experience in corporate/M&A and private equity transactions
Proven experience advising financial sponsors on buy‑and‑sell side deals, carve‑outs or joint ventures
Strong commercial awareness and interest in deal structuring; comfortable working on cross‑border matters
Excellent written and spoken German and English; outstanding academic record
Team player with client focus and appetite for business development
