An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a high-performing restructuring and insolvency team within a fully integrated global law firm. The group regularly acts on large commercial disputes and significant insolvency and restructuring matters, representing government organisations, major banks and financiers, large corporates, and insolvency accounting firms.

The role offers broad exposure across commercial litigation in all courts, liquidations, receiverships, voluntary administrations, securities enforcement, corporate restructuring, and banking/loan recovery litigation. Clients span a wide range of industries including technology, agribusiness, manufacturing, distribution and retail, financial services, health, education, private equity, mining, and the not-for-profit sector.

Responsibilities include advising government and corporate clients on commercial disputes and insolvency/restructuring matters, acting for lenders and insolvency practitioners on loan recovery and enforcement, attending court appearances, contributing to business development and client relationship activities, and liaising with colleagues across offices and practice groups internationally.

Ideally 5+ years' PQE
Prior experience in insolvency and general litigation, preferably at a comparable firm
Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
Commitment to high-level client service
Excellent organisation and written and oral communication skills
Collaborative team player
