Senior Associate, Intellectual Property (Chemistry)

Top-tier international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Intellectual Property practice focused on chemistry. The role combines patent prosecution and litigation work on complex, technology-driven matters alongside experienced IP litigators and prosecution counsel.

The position is open to candidates in multiple U.S. offices (Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto or Washington, D.C.) and offers exposure to cross-office teams and high‑profile client work. Candidates will be expected to collaborate closely with technical and litigation teams across practices.

• Senior-associate level experience in patent prosecution and related IP litigation work
• Technical background in chemistry (advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred)
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills and experience drafting office actions, patent applications, and prosecution strategy
