Senior Associate, Intellectual Property (Chemistry)

Experienced IP associate sought to join a national intellectual property practice with openings across multiple U.S. offices (Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto, Washington, D.C.). The role offers exposure to both patent prosecution and litigation matters involving chemical and related technologies.

Work will include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing responses to patent-office actions, assisting with patentability/validity/freedom-to-operate analyses and supporting litigation and opinion work under attorney supervision. Candidates will collaborate with technical teams and outside counsel on domestic and foreign filings.

• J.D. and active U.S. bar admission
• Technical degree in chemistry or closely related field (Ph.D., M.S. or B.S.)
• Demonstrated experience in patent prosecution; exposure to patent litigation and opinion work preferred
• Strong drafting, analysis and academic record; firm requests law school, undergraduate and graduate transcripts
