Senior Associate, Intellectual Property (Life Sciences)

Join a national intellectual property team handling life-sciences matters across multiple U.S. offices. The role includes work on patent prosecution and IP litigation for clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors.

Candidates will collaborate with experienced litigators and prosecutors to prepare and prosecute patent applications, respond to patent-office communications, assist with opinions and freedom-to-operate analyses, and support litigation tasks as needed.

This position is open to candidates for placement in one of several U.S. offices. Applicants should be prepared to submit law school, undergraduate and graduate transcripts.

• JD and admission to a U.S. state bar (or eligibility to obtain admission)
• Strong technical background in life sciences/chemistry or related field
• Demonstrable experience in patent prosecution and support of patent litigation matters
• Excellent drafting, analytical and teamwork skills; willing to work across multiple offices
