Senior Associate, Intellectual Property (Life Sciences)

A leading international IP practice is seeking a senior associate with life‑sciences patent experience to join a busy team. The role involves patent prosecution work and collaboration on IP litigation matters for biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients.

The position is open to candidates in multiple U.S. offices (Boston, Denver, New York, Palo Alto or Washington, D.C.). You will work with interdisciplinary teams on drafting and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, preparing responses to patent office actions, and supporting litigation and opinion work as needed.

Applicants should be prepared to provide law school and undergraduate (and, if applicable, graduate) transcripts as part of the application process.

• Demonstrated patent prosecution experience in life sciences (biotech/pharmaceutical) matters.
• Strong drafting and prosecution skills, including office-action responses and foreign filing coordination.
• Ability to support IP litigation and prepare opinions when required.
• Law degree and technical background relevant to life sciences; transcripts required.
