Senior Associate, Private Equity M&A — Los Angeles

Senior associate role in a US private equity practice seeking an attorney with strong transactional experience. The position focuses on buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture transactions, exits and equity‑compensation matters.

Ideal candidates are proactive, commercially minded, and able to work effectively both as part of deal teams and managing discrete transaction components independently. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external counsel and clients.

Bar admission (or prompt eligibility) and a detailed deal sheet are required for consideration.

• 6+ years of private equity / transactional experience (M&A, leveraged recaps, growth equity, venture, exits)
• Proven ability to manage portions of complex transactions and work collaboratively on deal teams
• Strong commercial judgment and excellent written and oral communication skills
• Outstanding academic credentials or equivalent firm experience
• Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) and submission of a deal sheet
