Senior Associate – Project Finance

Join a market-leading structured project finance team advising on some of the largest and most innovative energy and infrastructure projects across Africa and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise in a high-growth sector, working alongside leading practitioners on complex, high-value transactions.

You will support clients across the full lifecycle of energy and infrastructure finance transactions, working closely with colleagues locally and across our international network. You will advise banks, sponsors, developers, funds and financial institutions on a broad range of project finance, acquisition finance and refinancing matters, including renewables, battery storage, biogas, transport, utilities and telecommunications.

• Advise on project financings, refinancings and acquisition financings across the energy and infrastructure sectors
• Support transactions from term sheets and lender RFPs through to financial close and post-completion matters
• Draft, review and negotiate finance and project documentation
• Advise on operational support and M&A activity relating to energy and infrastructure assets
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the projects group and international offices on cross-border mandates
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development

Qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with 4–7 PQE and strong project finance experience, including exposure to energy and infrastructure transactions. You should have solid drafting and negotiation skills, a commercial approach, and the ability to work effectively within cross-border teams.
