Our client, a global legal practice with a market-leading Australian Projects & Construction team, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Perth office. The team is consistently recognised as one of the leading practices of its kind in Australia and works across energy, infrastructure and construction matters on local, regional and cross-border projects.

The successful candidate will advise project sponsors, financiers and large energy users on a range of energy and infrastructure matters, drafting and negotiating project documentation including power purchase agreements, gas sales and supply (pipeline gas and LNG), storage, connection, services, development, delivery and joint venture agreements. The role involves managing workstreams on large domestic and international projects and liaising directly with clients on consents, amendments and delivery issues.

Minimum of 5 years' PQE gained within a front-end construction, energy or projects practice
Experience assisting on a range of energy, construction or projects matters
Strong client liaison skills
Excellent analytical, drafting and communication skills
Strong time management and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
