An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join one of the largest and best-regarded real estate practices in the UK, based in London. The team is known for genuine strength in both breadth and depth of work, spanning heavyweight development and complex joint ventures through to asset management.

The practice offers a first-class capability across related disciplines including planning, real estate litigation, real estate finance, construction, M&A, funds structuring and tax. Its lawyers are regularly recognised by leading legal directories as leaders in their field, and the group advises major real estate players shaping the market, including international clients less familiar with investing in the UK.

This is a collaborative, global environment. The role involves significant responsibility for transactional real estate and real estate finance matters, with scope to manage client projects and contribute to the development of the practice.

5–9 years' PQE (or equivalent experience)
Significant experience in transactional real estate matters and real estate finance transactions
Experience ideally gained at a leading City or regional firm
Strong academic background (minimum 2.1 degree)
Excellent written communication and drafting skills
Outstanding technical skills and the ability to build client and colleague relationships
Experience managing an independent caseload and working within a larger team
Ability to manage, develop and lead more junior team members
