Senior Associate / Special Counsel, Real Estate

Leading, growing real estate team seeks a senior associate or special counsel with a focus on commercial "dirt" matters. The role is open to candidates willing to work in either the New York or Washington, D.C. offices.

The practice emphasizes acquisitions and dispositions and borrower-side real estate financings. You will join a market-facing transactional group handling complex commercial real estate matters alongside experienced partners and counsel.

Ideal candidates will have strong academic credentials, solid law-firm transactional experience, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

• 6+ years of law firm real estate experience (PQE)
• Substantial commercial "dirt" real estate experience — acquisitions and dispositions
• Experience on borrower-side real estate financings and real estate lending transactions
• Outstanding academic record and strong drafting, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills
