An opportunity has arisen at a highly regarded international law firm for a senior-level lawyer to join its expanding Technology, Communications and Data Protection practice in Bogotá or Medellín.

The role involves advising clients on a broad range of technology, telecommunications, data protection and digital business matters. The successful candidate will work closely with a team on complex, cross-border work in a collaborative environment with strong career development prospects.

Law degree and bilingual proficiency in English
7–10 years of professional experience
Strong experience in technology and telecommunications law
Knowledge of data protection and privacy, including international regulatory frameworks such as the GDPR and CCPA
Experience in cybersecurity, internet and e-commerce matters
Experience in technology licensing, acquisition and contracting
Knowledge or experience of projects involving the implementation, development and/or use of AI tools
Previous experience in a law firm preferred
