Apply in confidence →Senior legal-adviser role within a multidisciplinary Energy practice advising on regulatory, transactional and contentious matters related to the energy transition. The role supports lawyers across Regulation, M&A, Finance and Litigation teams and contributes to firm-wide knowledge and business development initiatives.
Responsibilities include maintaining and developing sector know‑how (precedents, templates, memoranda), producing client and internal updates, organising expert meetings and training, supporting pitches and events, and coordinating relationships with relevant national and international energy organisations.
This is a hands‑on, collaborative position based in Amsterdam within the firm’s Legal Operations / Energy group, with scope to shape practice efficiency, client-facing materials and innovation in the team.
- Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience in energy law (lawyer, counsel or legal adviser).
- Strong knowledge of energy law and regulation; experience across regulatory, transactional and/or contentious work preferred.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Proven ability to develop know‑how, produce client updates and contribute to business development and training.
- Self-starting, organised, collaborative and comfortable engaging with senior lawyers and external organisations.
