Senior / Principal Associate — Corporate (M&A) — Birmingham

Senior or Principal Associate opportunity to join a nationally integrated corporate team based in Birmingham, focusing on high-quality M&A, private equity, joint ventures and group restructurings. The team acts for national and international clients on multi-jurisdictional transactions and is recognised in leading legal directories for its corporate work outside London.

The role involves leading and supporting complex transactions across sectors including advanced engineering, health & life sciences, technology and real estate, working collaboratively with senior lawyers across the national team. There are clear opportunities to contribute to business development and to progress technically and commercially within a supportive, flexible working culture.

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent) with significant corporate/M&A experience at senior or principal associate level.
• Track record on M&A and private equity transactions, including multi-jurisdictional work and joint ventures.
• Strong drafting, deal-management and client-facing skills; able to lead parts of complex transactions and mentor junior team members.
• Commercial awareness and willingness to participate in business development initiatives; ability to work collaboratively across a national team and travel as required.
