Join a leading financial professionals team in Bristol, advising on high-value, complex claims for insurers and professional services firms. The role spans pre-action and litigated matters, coverage advice, and support for clients facing regulatory investigations, often with a fiscal or regulatory dimension.

Manage your own caseload with supervision, while assisting senior fee-earners on larger matters.
Advise insurers on coverage across a range of policies and issues.
Act as a point of contact for clients, liaising directly with experts and counsel.
Run disclosure exercises and draft witness statements.
Report to insurers in line with protocols and service level agreements.
Support business development through articles and client training.
Maintain technical knowledge and ensure compliance with billing and credit control protocols.

We are looking for a qualified solicitor with between 0–4 PQE. Experience in professional indemnity claims, particularly financial professional claims, and coverage issues is highly desirable. You should have a genuine interest in the technical and complex issues these claims raise, and ambition to specialise in the area.

Solid academic record at degree and CPE/LPC level (or equivalent).
Good numeracy and an interest in financial and tax matters.
Excellent client handling and relationship skills, able to deal confidently with insured and insurer clients.
A reasonable level of self-sufficiency, with awareness of the boundaries of your competence.
A client-focused, commercial perspective, combined with strong legal analysis skills and quick learning ability.
Positive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
