We are seeking a Solicitor to join our leading Medical Negligence team in Newcastle. Our specialists support individuals and families following failures in medical care, helping them secure the answers, compensation, rehabilitation and wider support they need. The team has extensive experience across a broad range of complex claims, including birth injuries, surgical errors, delayed diagnosis, mental health negligence and fatal claims.

In this role, you will manage your own caseload while assisting senior team members with more complex, high-value cases. You will handle cases from start to finish, using your commercial and analytical skills to identify key issues and propose practical solutions. Wherever possible, you will aim to secure interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before claims are concluded.

1 year PQE+ experience in medical negligence
Ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice
Demonstrable technical experience gained within medical negligence
Experience assisting senior colleagues on high-value complex cases
Ability to manage own caseloads with exceptional attention to detail and seamless service
Ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team
