Solicitor / Senior Solicitor – Catastrophic Loss & Personal Injury

A leading global firm is seeking a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor to join its nationally recognised Catastrophic Loss team. This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-value personal injury matters within one of the largest teams of its kind in the UK.

The team represents a wide range of leading insurers and corporate clients, handling Road Traffic Accidents, Employers’ Liability, and Public Liability claims with values ranging from £150,000 to £20 million. You will work closely with partners and senior team members on substantial cases, gaining exposure to challenging litigation and settlement strategy.

The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with offices in Leeds, Manchester, and Newcastle considered. Candidates based further afield may be considered provided they can travel to Leeds fortnightly. This is a fully assisting role with clear progression opportunities within a high-performing environment.

• 1–4 years PQE, preferably in Large Loss, Complex Loss, or Catastrophic Loss claims.
• Experience handling or assisting on defendant multi-track personal injury cases, including EL/PL or RTA matters.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law, liability, and quantum assessment.
• Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
