Solicitor, Private Equity & Venture Capital — Sydney

We are seeking a Solicitor with 2–4 years' experience to join a Tier 1 Corporate M&A practice in Sydney, working within a leading Private Equity & Venture Capital team.

You will advise on some of the highest-profile private capital transactions in the market and collaborate with colleagues across global offices. The workload spans the full deal lifecycle — drafting and negotiating contracts, managing due diligence, and running matters through to completion.

The team is recognised as a market leader in private equity and venture capital, acting for a broad range of private equity sponsors, growth investors and high-growth companies from seed stage through to IPO. You will work directly with clients across a range of sectors and contribute to business development, pitching and thought leadership.

• Admission to practice as a lawyer in Australia or New Zealand.
• 2–4 years' experience in a leading corporate M&A practice.
• Strong academic record and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to manage competing demands and work through technical challenges calmly and collaboratively.
• Energy to contribute to a high-performing team, build client relationships and mentor junior lawyers.
