Join a leading financial markets practice and work on complex matters across derivatives, financial market infrastructure, payments and digital assets. The team is recognised for its depth and breadth of expertise across Australia's financial markets sector, acting for domestic and international financial institutions, market infrastructure providers, state entities, funds, corporates and industry bodies.

This role is open due to sustained client demand and a strong pipeline of innovative, market-leading work. You will gain exposure to both deal execution and the broader operation of financial markets, including derivatives and financial market transactions, collateral, netting and financial services regulation.

The position suits a lawyer who wants to build deep technical capability, work closely with leading practitioners, and take on complex, market-facing work across transactions and regulation.

3–5 years' PQE from a banking & finance, financial markets or derivatives practice
Strong drafting and analytical skills
Sound commercial judgement
Clear interest in building expertise in financial markets
Experience with ISDA documentation is beneficial but not essential
Must hold all necessary visas and approvals to work in Australia (if not an Australian citizen or permanent resident)
