An exciting opportunity exists for an Associate or Senior Associate with 4–5 years' PQE to join a market-leading Financial Services & Funds team. The role is available in Sydney or Brisbane and reports directly to a Partner, with close collaboration alongside senior Partners heading the Banking & Finance / Financial Services & Funds practice.

The team provides a broad range of financial services regulation and funds management advice, including payments and Fintech regulation, licensing, AML/CTF regulation, exchange traded funds, structured equities and derivatives, financial markets and financial product disclosure. The Australian group works closely with its global team to advise national and multi-national clients on a broad range of financial products and offerings.

Minimum 4–5 years' experience in financial services regulatory
Relevant experience at a top tier or leading international law firm preferred
Strong client service focus
Commitment to high standards, including strong drafting and commercial skills
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication
Ability to develop and take responsibility for client relationships, with business development aptitude
Ability to work well in a team environment, including across offices and internationally
Proven ability to delegate and willingness to develop others through mentoring
