A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Structured & Warehouse Finance Team in its New York office. The role offers the opportunity to take a significant part in transaction execution on behalf of lenders, borrowers, issuers and other market participants in mortgage finance and structured finance.

The successful candidate will work on mortgage finance and repurchase facilities, warehouse credit agreements and other secured lending facilities, coordinating deal teams and engaging directly with clients and opposing counsel.

This is a senior-level position suited to a lawyer ready to assume meaningful responsibility for deal management and client relationships within a collaborative finance practice.

6+ years of relevant experience in mortgage finance and structured finance transactions
Demonstrated experience representing lenders, borrowers, issuers or other market participants
Meaningful experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing repurchase agreements, warehouse credit agreements and other secured lending facilities
Comfort taking a significant role in transaction execution, including coordinating deal teams and liaising directly with clients and opposing counsel
Experience with syndicated facilities and intercreditor arrangements is desirable
Excellent academic credentials and strong interpersonal skills
