We are seeking a Staff Attorney to support a private funds practice in New York. The individual will work alongside associates, counsel, and partners on a broad range of fund matters, assisting with fundraising documentation, secondary transfers, and ongoing fund maintenance for a varied private fund client base.

Core responsibilities include assisting with fund formation and document drafting, reviewing and tracking investor subscription documents, aiding investor onboarding, and managing fund closings. The role also involves preparing basic funds-related agreements such as transfer agreements, working with clients and investors to process and close secondary transfers, and compiling key documents including master side letters and most favored nation clause compendiums.

Additional duties encompass AML and KYC review and compliance, ongoing fund and compliance work, and other tasks as needed. The position offers a collegial environment and a hybrid working arrangement.

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Admission to the bar of the local office jurisdiction
