A Supervising Associate position is available within a market-leading Derivatives & Trading team, with roles based in the UK (London or Bristol). The team is a specialist unit supporting buy-side clients across global markets, providing end-to-end advice on trading, derivatives and related documentation.

The role involves drafting and negotiating ISDAs, prime brokerage agreements, GMRAs/GMSLAs, ETD documentation and other trading arrangements, and giving clear, commercially focused advice on regulatory matters such as EMIR and MiFID II. You will lead transactions, manage client interactions, and mentor junior lawyers while working collaboratively across practice areas.

The team offers high-value, complex work in a fast-moving regulatory environment and supports professional development through training, knowledge sharing and business development contributions.

Qualified solicitor with 4+ years' PQE.
Proven experience on buy-side derivatives and trading transactions (ISDA, prime brokerage, repo, securities lending).
Strong technical knowledge of derivatives documentation and relevant regulation (e.g. EMIR, MiFID II).
Excellent communication, client-management and team leadership skills; ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple, high-value matters.
