Tax Associate — Tax, Boston

An established U.S. law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Tax practice in Boston. The role focuses on general transactional tax matters and works closely with the firm s corporate group.

Typical work will include advising on tax aspects of mergers & acquisitions, partnership and fund formation matters, private equity transactions, real estate tax structures and related financing and capital-markets transactions. The team handles both collaborative, multi-disciplinary matters and discrete tax workstreams where associates run substantial components independently.

• 3 4 years experience in transactional tax work
• J.D.; relevant bar admission in the U.S. (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
• Experience advising on tax issues for M&A, partnerships/LLCs and fund formation
• Ability to work in teams and manage substantial pieces of transactions independently
• Outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills
