Nationwide law firm seeks a tax partner to join its Charlotte tax practice. The role offers leadership on sophisticated federal and state tax matters for corporate and investment clients, with opportunities to supervise associates and expand the local team.

Ideal candidates will bring a strong transactional and/or controversy tax background and a proven track record of client development. The team handles a broad range of tax issues for multistate and national clients.

Established partner with substantial tax experience at a law firm or equivalent.
Deep knowledge of federal and state tax law; transactional and/or tax controversy experience preferred.
Demonstrated client-development capabilities; a portable practice or existing client relationships will be considered.
Bar admission in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction and ability to practice in North Carolina (or willingness to become licensed).
