Technology & IP Transactions Associate — San Francisco

Top-tier law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Technology & IP Transactions group in San Francisco. The team advises public and private companies across technology, life sciences, energy, consumer and media sectors on commercial and IP-heavy transactions.

Work will span domestic and cross-border matters, including M&A, financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances, as well as software and systems agreements, outsourcing, R&D and collaboration agreements, and patent, trademark, copyright and data licensing.

• 3–6 years PQE or equivalent transactional experience
• Demonstrated experience on technology- or IP-intensive transactions (commercial contracts, licensing, software/AI-related agreements)
• Comfort handling a mix of domestic and cross-border matters and working with commercial teams
• Strong drafting, negotiating and client-facing skills; technical degree is not required
