Technology IP Transactions Associate — Los Angeles

A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified junior associate to join its Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing group in Los Angeles.

The associate will advise on IP licensing and other technology transactions, and provide IP support—including IP and technology due diligence—in M&A, venture financings and other corporate transactions. The role offers meaningful experience drafting and negotiating technology and IP license agreements, customer agreements (including SaaS agreements), channel partner agreements (including OEM, VAR and other reseller agreements), and collaboration and other strategic alliance agreements.

Candidates should have some experience with, or a demonstrated interest in, technology transactions, IP or related commercial work, along with strong drafting, analytical and organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Genuine curiosity about technology—including the issues presented by AI and open source software—is strongly preferred.
