Toxic Tort & Environmental Associate Attorney

Role Overview: Our St. Louis office, part of a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a motivated attorney to join our Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong research and writing skills and 1–7 years of experience in all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, and handling hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Missouri State Bar admission is required.

Practice Focus: Our team represents a diverse clientele—from multinational corporations to family-owned businesses, municipalities, and site operators—in state, federal, and administrative proceedings, including Superfund multi-site litigation and coordinated federal multi-district litigation. We frequently serve as national counsel in mass tort and products liability matters, including asbestos cases and automotive litigation.

Who We're Looking For: While toxic tort and environmental experience is preferred, we also welcome talented litigators from other practice areas who demonstrate a strong interest in this field and seek a collaborative, growing environment. • Experience: 1–7 years of litigation experience, ideally in toxic tort and environmental law.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Missouri State Bar.
• 1–7 years of litigation experience, with toxic tort and environmental experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability in case management, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated interest in toxic tort and environmental law.
