A national law firm with multiple U.S. locations seeks a Trademark/Copyright Litigation Associate with three to seven years of experience. The preferred office is Nashville, but candidates may be considered for any office, including a virtual office.

The associate will work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit on a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including large domestic and international trademark portfolios, TTAB proceedings, trademark and copyright disputes, UDRP domain name disputes, anticounterfeiting enforcement, demand letters, litigation support, copyright registration, and trademark and copyright licensing and technology agreements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills, a demonstrated record of working well under pressure, exceptional judgment, the ability to handle multiple projects effectively, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.

3–7 years of experience preferred
Trademark litigation and TTAB experience is a threshold requirement
Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which the candidate is applying, or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible
Excellent academic credentials
Superior interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
Exceptional judgment and ability to effectively handle multiple projects
Ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action
