The same Aschheim platform still targets 1.5 GW in operation by 2030 and was hiring in-house Projects & Transactions counsel in Munich when we fetched its career pages in September 2026. One general counsel at a PE-backed battery-storage platform told us the first offer letter listed grade and a discretionary bonus with no euro band.

A chief legal officer at a listed utility-scale storage developer said the seat needed someone who had already lived through a hybrid tolling close. The same Aschheim employer was hiring Paralegal & Legal Operations and Senior Manager Project Finance – BESS & Infrastructure beside that lawyer in 2026, so legal headcount is being built next to a finance seat. This in-house seat papers EPC and tolling, not a litigation docket. Next Kraftwerke's seven-year capacity-purchase on SMAREG 12 has marketed 80 percent of 20 MW / 40 MWh since 1 November 2025, which is the paper this counsel actually marks.

Sartori maps about 9,000 lawyers in Munich. The battery-storage in-house bench sits at ju:niz Energy in Aschheim, Kyon Energy on Dachauer Strasse, BayWa r.e. on Arabellastraße, Pacifico Energy Partners in Maxvorstadt, Entrix on Leopoldstraße, STABL Energy, and Allianz Global Investors.
Munich BESS legal benches exist because those platforms scaled in 2025 and 2026. ju:niz has been part of the EQT network since 2025 and still publishes a 1.5 GW operating target for 2030. Pacifico sold ju:niz the 250 MW / 612 MWh Brandenburg right on 18 December 2025 from its Theresienstraße house. AllianzGI on 3 March 2026 agreed to buy 50 percent of 11 Kyon-developed German BESS (789 MW / 1,628 MWh) in a €500 million program. BayWa r.e. on 11 May 2026 took an eight-year operations contract on Alfeld (137 MW / 282 MWh). Entrix on 25 March 2026 announced 3 GW / 8.5 GWh of contracted capacity and €43 million of new capital.
