The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore reported in 2026 that 2025 marine fuel sales reached 56.77 million tonnes, up 3.4 percent, while alternative marine fuels reached 1.95 million tonnes. Baird Maritime, citing Reuters on 30 July 2026, put H1 2026 LNG bunker sales at 318,300 tons, about 30 percent above the year-earlier period. Equatorial ordered a 20,000 cbm LNG bunkering vessel in December 2024, with construction start on 15 April 2026. Shell completed the acquisition of Pavilion Energy in Singapore in 2025. Singapore LNG Corporation began FSRU construction for a 204,000 m3, 5 MTPA second terminal on 24 October 2025.
