Associate, Antitrust & Competition — Sydney

Global antitrust team seeks an experienced competition lawyer to join its Sydney office. The role covers merger clearance, investigations, regulatory reviews and advisory work across Australia and the APAC region, supporting multijurisdictional matters.

The team advises on cartel and abuse of dominance matters, consumer protection issues, access/regulation of monopoly infrastructure, foreign investment clearances and competition aspects of commercial arrangements. The role offers exposure to complex cross-border mandates and clear progression and learning opportunities within a coordinated international practice.

• 4–6 years PQE in competition/antitrust law in private practice or with a regulator
• Experience with merger filings and competition investigations (APAC/Australia preferred)
• Strong academic record, analytical and commercial judgment
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time-management skills
• Team player with client-service focus and ability to work under pressure
