Since 2013, our Yangon office has grown to around 50 legal and corporate-services professionals, making us one of the largest law firms and corporate service providers in the city. Our team of lawyers, tax advisors, and corporate secretaries handles the full spectrum of corporate and commercial legal work, with particular focus on structuring investments into Myanmar. We also provide accounting, payroll, tax compliance, and administrative support through our internationally trained accountants and tax consultants, offering clients a one-stop shop for their regulatory and administrative corporate needs.

We are looking for a qualified lawyer who is licensed to practice in their home jurisdiction and has a strong academic record. The ideal candidate is a professional newcomer or has 1–2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained abroad, and is eager to work long-term in Myanmar or the wider Asian region. You should be independent, resourceful, and confident working with complex and often unfamiliar issues, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Fluency in English, both written and oral, is essential, as is the ability to clearly explain complex legal issues to non-lawyers and provide business-oriented, practical advice. We value fast, adaptive thinkers who can keep up with evolving Myanmar legislation, work well in a team, and manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong multitasking and organizational skills. A proactive, solution-driven mindset and sound commercial judgment are key.

Preferences:

European bar admission (ideally Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, or the Netherlands)
Knowledge of common law
Knowledge of taxation
